Over a year ago, the Levant Clinic's Board of Directors, presided by Dr. Antoine Maalouf, undertook a pioneer project to develop the infrastructure of the hospital's services and departments.

The quality of the initiative as well as the commitment of the Clinic's staff constituted a landmark in our Epilepsy screening service, a Polysomnography Service, an Autonomous Service for Short Stay cancer patients.

On the other hand, we are in the process of preparing the V2011 certification, the 2000-2013 project launching, the restructuring of the main cuisine, the construction of the administrative building, and the launching of robotic anesthesia.

Besides, the quality management department has been working for the past two years on providing safety of healthcare in order to:

• Improve pain relief
• Fight against nosocomial diseases
• Establish sub committees in order to implement the requirements  of the committee on combating nosocomial infections

In brief, the Clinic wishes to provide patients with the best healthcare services.

At the beginning of year 2011, all 23 services and units, as detailed in the upcoming pages, were subject to an analytical study. The latter examined the strengths and weaknesses, exposed the problems and suggested the relevant solutions. It is noteworthy that we do not pretend providing key solutions however perceptiveness is a must. Achieving tangible results is our motto.

Thanks to its warm welcome and agreeable and clean environment, the Clinic gains endless momentum as well as a genuine reputation.
