Our nephrology and hemodiafiltration center is a unique treatment center in the Middle East region due to its ultra-modern equipment, comfort, and highly qualified team, its approach of the psychological and moral level in the respect of each patient.

The dialysis center of la Clinique du Levant is located in the bloc b, underground -1 and comprises 2 floors. The concept of the center is based on international standards.

In a large location, a modern style and relaxing environment, 20 new therapy systems of 5008 and 4008 s of Fresenius/ Germany were installed.

The center provides a high quality dialysis service, based on the following factors:

The main component of the treatment is water, of which 120 liters are used during each dialysis session for duration of approximately 4 hours. The center has installed a water treatment that allows transforming mineral water into ultra pure water.

Using this water improves the dialysis quality.

This system is a mixture of the traditional hemofiltration and hemodialysis techniques. By using pure water, the survival chances of the patients improves of 35 %, and ultra modern filters of a high quality and permeability which allows taking off a larger quantity of toxins.

The new generation of therapy systems provides accurate monitoring options:

• The OCM : allows a precise and continuous monitoring of the dialysis efficiency and adequacy.
• The BTM : used to measure vascular access recirculation and detect any trouble that could indicate stenosis in the fistula, and take preventive steps.
• The BVM : a program that performs an online monitoring of the dialysis session to achieve the ideal weight and avoid symptomatic hypotension.

The team is formed of professional and experienced nurses trained to perform new techniques as they participate in continuous training workshops. A nephrologist assists all the dialysis sessions.
